Vision

 

In light of the many recent tragedies which race has played a substantial role, the national dialogue is very focused on a black-white narrative. However, to achieve a fuller understanding of the big picture of racial controversy, it is important to include other marginalized minority groups that are affected by racial prejudice. For our conference, we intend to focus on Asian American issues that are often overlooked within the existing narrative of racial injustice.
